Clear your energy, lift your spirits
Since ancient times, our ancestors have burned sacred herbs and resins, believing the sacred smoke to raise vibrations, dispel of negativity, and assist with spiritual work. In this workshop participants will be introduced to traditional methods of clearing space, objects and individuals. Gain understanding on intention setting, the act of smudging and the significance of tools and supplies used. Participate in one of the most healing rituals by creating your own Smudge Wand. Made of feathers and a natural wooden handle, a smudge wand is an instrument used to guide smoke in a desired direction. We welcome you to personalize your wand (feathers, handle and adornments will be supplied). As the smoke rises into the air dissolving all heaviness and negativity clearing space to manifest your intention.
Participants receive a sage bundle, shell, palo santo stick, instructions and handmade feather wand.

Gabriel Halpern is Back for a Yoga Weekend Intensive
Yoga and The Thrill-O-Meter:
Resilience. Excitement. Flow & Peace
with Gabriel Halpern
June 12th and 13th
Teacher's Circle: Karma /Satya Intensive
Date & Time: Friday June 12th from 2-5:30 pm
Session Content:
What problems do you face personally professionally?/What is the future of yoga and how are women shaping it?/How has the Me Too movement and political correctness affected our industry? What are your highs and lows in teaching?
Foundations of Hatha Yoga: Back to the Basics
Date & Time: Friday June 12th 6-9 PM
Session Content:
So many students are lost in the "Hollywood facade" of the poses thinking that doing more convoluted and advanced postures is doing better yoga. The truth is fundamentals are the basis for all advanced poses, especially if you want them to be done correctly and injury free. Today we will review the basic spinal movements of flexion, extension, lateral bending, axial rotation and inverting, as well abduction, adduction, internal and external rotation of the shoulder and the hips. Poses highlighting each of these actions will be demonstrated, taught and corrected with modifications suggested for each student.
Each session will begin with one of Gabriel‘s classic power point presentations and dharma talks.
PROPS R US
Date & Time: Saturday June 13th 10 AM- 1PM
Session Content:
Contemporary yogis use props. Props safely teach many fundamentals necessary for further advancement in yoga. Execution of asanas that were previously out of reach now become accessible. The possibilities and variations of prop usage are limitless and can be done more safely and with better alignment. In this workshop we will explore how many benefits can accrue from adding props support to your poses.
Restorative Yoga: Hit the Reset Button
Date & Time: Saturday June 13th 3-6 PM
Session Content:
Without zest for living, life is flat, boring, and dull. And without peace, there is no zest. Yoga brings the resilience of speedy recovery from problems, which means the ability to bounce back from failure, to not let setbacks deter you from your goals, and to grow from mistakes so you only pay that price once. You’ll leave class with renewed passion and enthusiasm to transform your life into something of your own choosing and that is great.
Personal Investment: $150 Entire Weekend (All three Classes) on Friday and Saturday, $120 for two workshops or $60 for one. Excludes Friday's teacher's workshop.
