About Yoga:

The benefits of yoga are too many to list here! The physical benefits include increased flexibility, decreased risk of sports injury, healthier joints and tendons, detoxification, and improved muscle tone. It can be extremely helpful for people with chronic back pain. It is beneficial for asthma, heart disease, high blood pressure, arthritis and all stress related disorders. Yoga works to unify the mind, body and spirit for a blissful experience. The rewards of this practice are many including better posture, better attitude, better body awareness, weight loss, increased immune system function and more. Sign up or drop in for a class- you’ll feel great!

             7:15 pm: Fitness Yoga (8 week series pre-register)

        

Sat:    8:00am: Wake up Yoga (all levels drop in)

        10:00am :  Drop in Beginners Yoga  (75 min)

            11:30 am: Gentle Yoga (6 week series pre-register)

          2:00pm FREE Introduction to Yoga: 9/18, 10/9,11/13  must pre-register


Drop-in classes are $14 a class or 10 pre-paid classes for $120:

Private Sessions are available for $75 for 75 minutes or 5 Sessions for $250:
Classes are small so you will receive hands on attention. Please wear comfortable clothing that you can stretch in, and we recommend that you do not eat for 90 minutes before class, or eat lightly. We have mats available for your use or you may bring your own.  Please feel free to call us with any questions or concerns you may have.

 

 

 

Class descriptions:

Hatha: A classical form of yoga, which includes exercises to stretch and strengthen the entire body, breathing exercises, body awareness, meditation and deep relaxation.  All levels welcome.


Vinyasa:
A flowing form of Hatha. A more strenuous style of yoga that gets your energy moving. Recommended for students that have some prior knowledge of yoga.


Fitness Yoga:
Class will focus on building strength and endurance with challenging asanas (poses). Combination of flowing movement with longer asana holds. 8 week series $96. must pre-register

 

 Beginners: Class is geared towards those with little or no yoga experience. Class will

 move at a slower pace and include more explanation and demonstration of asanas (poses).


Gentle Yoga: Enjoyable Class designed for students that are less flexible, sedentary, or recovering from injuries or illness. Breathing exercises, gentle stretching, and relaxation. Six week series $75. Must pre-register


Wake Up Yoga:
Early morning class designed to start your day right! All levels welcome. Wake up early and do something good for yourself- you will be amazed at how much more energy and clarity you will have. 

Yoga for Weight Loss:

Lets work together to lose those extra pounds to achieve health and radiance. This class will focus on building muscle, boosting metabolism to burn fat, and creating core strength. Positive affirmations and meditations will be included to help us on our journey to health. 8 weeks series $120
